I’m Hannah and thanks for coming here to find out a little more about me…..

To hear about my yoga journey we need to rewind and go back to 2010 when I had just moved from my native England to Ho Chi Minh City to be an English teacher. Overnight I found myself surrounded by incredible sights, smells, tastes, a new job and a new culture to grapple with.  I found myself in downward dog on a yoga mat, hoping it would lead me to some peace and calm. It was not an instant solution of course but slowly, after several months of weekly practice, I found the sounds of the motorbike horns and roosters crowing outside the open studio windows began to fade. All I could hear was my breath. Finally, for that blissful hour practice, I had found the grounding and peace I needed. So much so, in fact, I changed my initial plan to stay for only 6 months in Vietnam to staying a further three years. Here I undertook my initial 200 hour teacher training through the discipline of Ashtanga with Tirisula Yoga Singapore. Since then I moved to Australia for 9 years and now reside in the US with my best friends - Laszlo, my husband, and our beloved dog Phoenix.

In all the places that I have lived, I have been truly blessed to have been influenced by a wide variety of disciplines and styles, in the encounter with inspirational teachers. I recognize that I am on a journey - it all starts with a pose and a thought, and expands into a never-ending path of self discovery and growth.

Just like most Yogis, my initial encounter and training emphasised the physical practice of yoga, mastering how to balance on my hands and push my body to new limits.

I still love to teach dynamic style classes but these days my personal practice has softened. I meditate regularly and love the slower-paced styles such as Slow Flow and Yin yoga. I have a deep interest in mindfulness and love to research and teach with this in mind. I am also lucky enough to have been taught by the leading Australian/New Zealand Antigravity yoga teacher in Aerial Yoga Therapeutics which has led me down a new path of therapeutic movement and am well-loved by those who may not feel comfortable with moving their body or perhaps are new to yoga or movement practices.

I value each and every person who joins my class and I look forward to helping you achieve your wellness goals, even the ones you didn’t know you needed!

Love H x

"Balance is a feeling derived from being whole and complete; it’s a sense of harmony. It is essential to maintain quality in life and work"
- Joshua Osenga

What's it like to take a class with Hannah?

Light-hearted, uplifting and engaging.

Hannah believes that yoga is a compliment to everything in life; that it challenges the ego, grows awareness between mind and body connection and has something positive to offer everyone.

She asks her students to make yoga their own experience and invites them to explore their limitations with an open mind.

"Come and find your balance with me."
